The Role
We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our core team and lead both the discovery and validation of our AI-powered imaging biomarkers. This role demands a strong scientific mindset, the ability to formulate hypotheses, and the expertise to design and execute experiments to validate them. You will also spearhead efforts to publish findings in high-impact scientific journals, advancing the field and strengthening the credibility of our biomarker platform.
- Discovery
- Identify novel biomarkers across new clinical applications and imaging modalities.
- Design and execute experiments to explore the biological and clinical relevance of these biomarkers.
- Collaborate with machine learning scientists to translate discoveries into robust AI models for further validation and eventual integration into clinical products.
- Validation
- Lead analytical validation to assess biomarker reproducibility, robustness, and accuracy.
- Conduct biological validation to establish mechanisms and functional relevance.
- Perform clinical validation to demonstrate biomarker performance in predicting patient outcomes, survival, adverse events, and other key clinical metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and lead research projects to identify and validate AI imaging biomarkers.
- Work closely with ML scientists to develop, optimize, and validate AI models for biomarker discovery.
- Develop experimental protocols to test biomarker performance across analytical, biological, and clinical dimensions.
- Collaborate with clinicians to integrate biomarkers into meaningful clinical workflows and applications.
- Publish research findings in leading scientific journals and conferences.
- Stay updated with advancements in medical imaging, and biomarker research to drive innovation.
